Wonderful Willow Weekend – Residential Package ~ FULLY BOOKED

Three whole Wonderful days of Willow Basket Weaving, with residential accommodation at Denmark Farm.

Here’s what is included:

Saturday 18th February 2017

A one day traditional willow basket weaving workshop in which we will be using a variety of natural willows to make a shallow round fruit or bread basket. Suitable for beginners and those who’d like a refresher.

Sunday 19th to Monday 20th February 2017

A two day oval willow basket weaving workshop in traditional ‘stake and strand’ basket making, using prepared basketry willow plus some grown at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre on the wetland system to add colour and texture. You can make an oval garden trug or shopping basket. 

Choose from a range of Eco friendly holiday accommodation on site at Denmark Farm:

• Private self-catering apartment in our Eco Lodge (2 people sharing one twin/double room) – £490 for 2 people

Please ask for prices for 3 or more people sharing an apartment in the Eco Lodge

• Private En-suite Room in our Eco Lodge – £220 per person
• Shared Twin En-suite Room in our Eco Lodge (2 people sharing) – £405 for 2 people
• Shared Dormitory En-suite and single sexed – £175 per person
• The Cwtch – private basic room (not en-suite) – £185 (no longer available)

With the last four options you can use the shared kitchen facilities in the main training area for all your catering.

Cost includes 3 nights accommodation (Fri, Sat & Sun) plus course fees and all materials.

NB. All bedding and towels plus hot drinks and biscuits during the course are included . Please bring all your own food and drink for self-catering.
