Making Conservation Count

darllen yn Gymraeg …

With funding from Ceredigion Association of Voluntary Organisations (CAVO) we are looking forward to running a short project ‘Making Conservation Count’ to help people improve their maths skills through practical activities.

The activities will include creating raised beds for growing fruit & vegetables as well as making wildlife nesting boxes. Support will be available from an experienced tutor to enable everyone to participate.

Although this is a small project, we do offer regular volunteer sessions if you would like to continue being a part of Denmark Farm’s conservation or gardening volunteers.

Sessions are aimed at adults aged 19 and over and who do not have a maths level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent), but sessions are open to all.

Thank you to CAVO, funded by UK Government, Ceredigion County Council and Growing Mid Wales.
