Want to spend more time outdoors, pick up new skills, and do something good for the planet?
We are now offering ten FREE* Green Skills workshops that make it easy to get started.

What are Green Skills?
Put simply, Green Skills are practical things you can do to help the environment in your everyday life. That might mean learning how to compost, grow food, support wildlife, or look after your tools properly.
These workshops are designed to be friendly, relaxed and useful, whether you’re a complete beginner or already love being outdoors.
What You Can Learn
There’s a great mix of sessions to choose from, all focused on simple skills you can take home and use straight away:
- 🌳 Identifying trees – learn how to recognise common trees and understand their importance
- 🌱 Composting and soil care – turn your waste into something useful for your garden
- 🐸 Creating a wildlife pond – help frogs, insects and other wildlife, even in small spaces
- 🍓 Preserving food – make the most of your harvest and cut down on food waste
- 🔧 Tool care – sharpen and maintain your garden tools so they last longer
- 🦋 Helping pollinators – design a garden that attracts butterflies and supports nature
All sessions are hands-on, practical, and led by experienced tutors.
