Volunteer Story: Christiane
“Volunteering at Denmark Farm helped me feel calmer, fitter and more confident. I learned new skills, met wonderful people and really enjoyed being part of such a supportive team.”
Christiane, Volunteer, Bird Hide Project, April 2026.
After joining a woodland conservation project, Christiane gained practical woodworking skills, improved her wellbeing and rediscovered the benefits of spending time in nature. She now plans to continue volunteering and encourages others to give it a go!
