Looking for a friendly place to practise your Welsh, meet new people, and enjoy some time outdoors?
Join us for our free, weekly Welsh Conversation Walk.
We warmly welcome:
Fluent and first-language Welsh speakers who are happy to support and encourage learners.
Learners of all levels, from beginners onwards, who would like some real-world Welsh practice in a safe and supportive environment.
Build your confidence
This is a judgement-free space where everyone is encouraged to speak at their own pace.
Learners can practise without fear or worry about making mistakes, and fluent speakers can help create a welcoming atmosphere where confidence can grow naturally.
BRING YOUR TRAVEL MUG
Please bring a travel much for your tea or coffee (decaf available) plus herbal tea, plus milk or oat milk.
MAKE A SMALL DONATION
As a charity we’d appreciate a small donation from learners towards the cost of your refreshments. Fluent speakers get their drinks on us!
DRESS FOR THE OUTDOORS
Please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions especially after wet weather.

What to expect
There is no pressure to be perfect, no expectation to know lots of Welsh, and no need to follow conversations that feel beyond your comfort zone.
Everyone understands that people are learning, and we’ll help make sure conversations remain accessible, encouraging and enjoyable.
Please bring a travel mug for your drink, then we’ll set off for a relaxed walk, and enjoying Welsh conversation along the way. Whether you want to listen, practise a few phrases, or chat more confidently, you’ll find a supportive group ready to help.
Whether Welsh is your first language, you’re returning to the language after many years, or you’re just learning your first few words, you’ll find a friendly and encouraging community here.
