The Oak Bunkhouse

Our Oak Bunkhouse is the ideal budget-friendly accommodation option, provides dormitory style sleeping arrangements for up to seven people, either as individuals or as a group.
With En-suite shower and toilet, and use of the beautiful Oak Room which features a galley style kitchen and cosy lounge area with wood burner and TV/DVD, plus the utility room, you have everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Bedding is provided (bring your own if you prefer), and towels are £5 per person if required.
Staying for a workshop?
If you are attending a Denmark Farm course or event then you can stay in the dormitory, with full use of all the facilities, for just £35 per person per night.
If you are not attending a Denmark Farm event we can often accommodate individuals in the dormitory, but bookings for courses take priority.
Short break with friends?
If you’d like to come on holiday or arrange a small residential event or celebration then you can hire our self-contained Oak Bunkhouse.
Stays in the Oak Bunkhouse are charged at £150 for up to 4 people, plus £25 for each additional person (up to max 7 people) per night.

Be prepared to get close to nature when staying in the Oak Bunkhouse!
The dormitory incorporates an active Barn Owl nest box in the roof.
We have some lovely footage of the Barn Owls emerging from their nest box located above the round window at the far end of the bunkhouse.
