Protect wildlife and build your skills

Everyone is welcome to join us for volunteer events throughout the year.

From building your skills in gardening, to helping maintain the varied habitats and rich biodiversity at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre, or helping with admin, there is much to learn and do!

By volunteering with us you will be helping manage our unique 40 acre nature reserve, which can then be enjoyed by all. So why not join us on one of our volunteer days, where you will meet like-minded people, learn new skills and make a positive difference for wildlife.

No experience needed, just enthusiasm!

Frequently asked questions about volunteering

No, not at all. We welcome everyone to all our volunteer sessions and will provide the tools and information you need to complete the jobs for the day. Just wear warm or waterproof clothing based on the forecast, as we’ll be working outside.

Please get in touch before you attend your first session so we can learn about your current experience level, any requirements, and expectations etc. Once you’ve attended the first session, the following sessions are on a drop-in basis.

Please check the relevant page for gardening and conservation sessions as they normally happen on set days. Admin tasks are more on an ad-hoc basis.
