Conservation
The care and protection of earth’s natural resources including plants, soil, water and wildlife, with a diversity of species and ecosystems, so they can persist for future generations.
We work hard to protect ecosystems, and teach others about conservation too.

Our approach
Read about the pioneering case study of habitat restoration, demonstrating change through simple conservation and management measures, and less intensive farming practices at Denmark Farm.

Our impact
Previously, farming and wildlife were seen as incompatible – It was one or the other. We wanted to prove that nature and farming could co-exist happily. Read how we’ve achieved that and so much more here!

Conservation courses
Our courses cater for land management professionals, landowners, naturalists, students and college groups – anyone with a keen interest in learning about the environment, the countryside and its wildlife.

Hands-on learning
Our volunteers help us to maintain the varied habitats and rich biodiversity within the 40-acre nature reserve, while learning about wildlife and habitat management, and practical outdoor skills.
