Materials Guidance
Fabrics should be of a similar weight, although textures can vary.
Avoid highly stretchy fabrics, as they can be difficult to work with.
Fine fabrics may be used for details and layering.
Sequins, buttons, ribbons, lace, beads, and other embellishments are welcome to add interest and personal touches to your finished piece.
If you have your own sewing machine, you are welcome to bring it for this course.
Bring along those cherished fabrics with a story to tell and give them a new life in a beautiful and meaningful textile creation.
