This 3-hour training session will provide participants with practical lifesaving skills and the confidence to respond in an emergency including CPR, using community defibrillators, recognising heart attacks and basic lifesaving techniques. Suitable for adults of all ages and no previous experience is required.

This 3-hour training session will provide participants with practical lifesaving skills and the confidence to respond in an emergency. Topics covered include:
  • Recognising and responding to cardiac arrest
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • How to use community defibrillators (AEDs)
  • Choking emergencies
  • Dealing with an unconscious casualty
  • Basic Heartstart and lifesaving techniques
  • What to do while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

The session is suitable for adults of all ages and no previous experience is required.

Our aim is to help increase the number of people in our communities who feel confident to take action in a medical emergency and know how to use the village defibrillators if needed.
