In a world that can often feel overwhelming, this workshop offers an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and find steady ground. Nature will provide a lens, inspired by Bill Plotkin’s Wild Mind approach, to explore our inner lives. We’ll find how four facets of emotional wholeness can help us respond to life’s challenges with greater resilience and self-compassion.

Together, we’ll create a warm, welcoming space for reflection, conversation, and gentle exploration. There will be opportunities, weather permitting, to spend time outdoors and connect more deeply with the natural world.

Who this is course aimed at?

Anyone seeking greater emotional resilience, balance, and connection in challenging times. No experience needed.

What to expect

A blend of Wild Mind sharings from Gill, small group conversations, and reflective exercises including gentle time outdoors. This personal growth workshop is experiential and interactive, however everyone is very welcome to engage at a level that feels comfortable.

You’ll end the day with a deeper understanding of your own sources of resilience, new perspectives on challenging emotions and experiences, and simple nature-based practices that you can continue to use in everyday life.

We’ll be in our lovely training room, with gentle outdoor activities (weather permitting) close to the centre – please bring suitable footwear and clothing.

Your Facilitator:

Gill Coombs is an experienced counsellor, coach, and ecotherapist, and has been leading groups for many years. With an MSc in Holistic Science from Schumacher College in Devon, she has a particular interest in the relationship between nature, wellbeing, and personal resilience.
