Volunteer for nature: Our autumn and winter Gwaith Dros Natur programme is now available here on our website for you to check out.
We have an exciting range of opportunities for you to learn about conservation and how to look after the environment, based on our unique 40 acre reserve at Denmark Farm.
Take your pick from putting up bird boxes and nest tubes for dormice, willow bed management, woodland management and coppicing, trail maintenance and monitoring our resident birds.
Volunteering can be a great way to learn about your environment and make new friends as well as improving your health and well-being.
But don’t just take our word for it, here is what some of our regular volunteers have to say:
“I feel fit and healthy after a day volunteering at Denmark Farm and also feel a sense of satisfaction after a day working outdoors with a group of like-minded people”
“I feel really positive today, coming here in the autumn sunshine (I struggle with depressive episodes)”
“Volunteering at Denmark Farm – A great opportunity to have more exercise in nature”
“Worth every minute and if you wish to find out more about our wildlife this is the place to come”
“I am really enthused by the conservation strategy and I want to put something back into the countryside”
Come and join our friendly group . Everyone is welcome at Denmark Farm and there is always plenty of tea and cake.
