A simple shared camp kitchen, compost toilet and natural play area is located very close by in the adjacent woodland.
“A wonderful place to stay! Where else can you watch Pied flycatchers from your front door? We enjoyed waking up in comfort to the dawn chorus after one of the best nights sleep ever. The yurt is really beautifully furnished and equipped and the bed very comfortable. The wood burner made it feel even more cosy. We walked down to the lake at dusk and saw lots of Pipistrelle bats and two Tawny owls.
Thank you, we’ll definitely be staying again.”

“What a fabulous place Demark Farm is. We stayed in the yurt and had the most magical time. The weather was great which always helps but the surroundings were just fabulous. It was like we had our own woods to explore which our children did, but we knew they were safe. The walk around the site is great and a visit to the lake a must, there are very few places now that all you can hear is birdsong. The stars at night were a sight and we even saw Mars. Mara and Anna were very welcoming, they must work very hard to create such a lovely place. Would recommend to all with no hesitation.”
