Whilst on site you can learn new skills and have some fun, selecting from a range of exciting workshops and activities.
Please see our website www.denmarkfarm.org.uk to see what is on during your stay. Courses tend to fill up in advance, so please book early.
During the Easter holidays we have a whole lot of fun activities going on:
Big Easter Bunny Egg Hunt & Nature Trail: Children will have an unforgettable adventure following a nature trail, seeking out signs of spring and collecting hand made chocolate eggs as well as other wildlife themed treats around Denmark Farm’s trails. Saturday 4th April 2015
Wild in the Woods: Give your children the freedom to explore our lovely broad-leaved woodland where they can learn practical skills, meet new friends and have fun. Based around the woodland roundhouse for shelter and firepit for warmth, children will have a magical adventure they will never forget. Tuesday 7th April 2015
Grow Me Eat Me Family Fun: A fun course for the whole family! Getting children growing their own fruit and vegetables not only teaches them where food comes from but can also encourage them to eat healthier. Get the whole family involved in the rewarding adventure of growing your own! Thursday 9th April 2015
If there is nothing on which suits, you can arrange your own bespoke programme of activities to suit your own requirements. We have a list of tried and tested facilitators who can offer activities for adults and children for a few hours or longer. Choose from a wide range of activities including: local heritage tours and guided walks, bird watching or nature walks, bat watching, moth trapping, foraging walks & feasts, local family history, pond dipping, bush craft & forest school sessions, woodcrafts, basket making, wool crafts, up-cycling clothes, herbal medicine, mountain biking and yoga.
Whatever you get up to during your stay, be sure to leave plenty of time to explore Denmark Farm’s 40 acre nature reserve where your little ones can discover nature and have memorable adventures.
