Willow Basket Weaving – Beginners
A one day traditional willow basket weaving workshop in which we will be using a variety of natural willows to make a shallow round fruit or bread basket. Suitable for beginners.
A one day willow basket weaving workshop in traditional ‘stake and strand’ basket making, using prepared basketry willow plus some grown at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre on the wetland system to add colour and texture.
Tutor: Jane Welsh
Jane is an experienced basket maker and attentive teacher. Her knowledge and love of willow is inspiring. She will also have a range of her own baskets for sale at very reasonable prices.
