Join Peggy, for a session jam packed with fun activities for children,
deep in the dappled shade of the woodland at Denmark Farm.
There will be two sessions running on Monday 30th August.
The first session in the morning will be geared up for little ones ages two to ten. Children six and over are welcome to join us without an adult and those under 6 should bring an adult along.
After lunch the second session will kick off for older children ages ten to fourteen. Eight and nine year olds are also very welcome if they have an older sibling with them or if they are little more independent.
Activities will vary depending on interest and ages of children. We will begin with a fire circle and games, followed by a simple forest craft activity and firelighting challenge. We will then boil water and make hot chocolate / tea / snacks before finishing off with some free play which may include den building, tree climbing, hammock/rope swing and bubble wands.
Activity Leader Peggy Beer is an experienced teacher and organiser of childrens activities. Peggy has worked as a CIW registered childminder and playworker for several years and is currently completing her training as a forest school instructor. With three children of her own she always has wonderful creative ideas for entertaining and engaging children in the natural environment.
Fee: £20 per child per session / sibling discount £2 off for 2nd child and £3 off for 3rd child / £3 per accompanying adult with children under six years old.
Places are limited must be booked in advance.
