Could your teen be the next Bear Grylls? We’re looking for teens aged 12-18 years to join the Forest School trained staff, James Kendall and Lea Wakeman from Woodland Classroom for a special day of teenage bushcraft including knife skills, fire-lighting, axe work, wild cooking, shelter building and wilderness awareness, all in the backdrop of the wild woods at Denmark Farm. Enjoy a cooked campfire feast at lunch. £30 per person and £25 for each additional sibling.
Advance booking is essential. Phone James on 07876 794098
You can find out more details about the event on our facebook page here.
Participants will be guided through a range of bushcraft skills by the experienced course leaders. The day is suitable for both complete beginners and keen young bushcrafters. Activities will be focused around the forest school base-camp and roundhouse, but we’ll also explore the site in search of wild edibles to add to our lunch. Do let us know if your teen has any special dietary requirements when making a booking.
It should be a great day and we look forward to seeing you all there.
Please note this is not a Denmark Farm hosted event but is being organised by Woodland Classroom.
