Starting Out with Fleece & Spinning
Tutor: Susan Martin
A one day “woolly workshop” starting with how to choose and sort a fleece. What makes a good fleece and will it be right for your project. We will wash some wool and prepare it. Then you will learn how to spin on a hand spindle. The last step is finishing your yarn ready to use. Various white and coloured local wools will be provided plus equipment. There will also be instructions to take away. Please wear old clothes.
Fee: £40 (£35 if you book early*) & (£5 for materials to be paid on the day)
