Event Type

Identify, harvest, cook and eat the best wild food that Spring can offer.
Together with experienced forager, Chloe Griffiths, we will stroll around Denmark Farm and learn which of the fresh, wild ingredients on our walk can be harvested, how to recognize them and how to prepare them for a series of delicious dishes, including daal, pesto and salads. We will cover a wide range of plants for your future use and then concentrate on 3 dishes to make and enjoy together on the day. Fee: £40 (£35 if you book early*) & £5 for materials. We also have a limited number of NIACE funded places for this course. To be eligible you will need to be low income or on benefits and not have attended a course at Denmark Farm before. Please enquire to check availability.
