Date(s) - 3 Jul 2013
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Tutor: Hannah Cutler
Pegloom weaving is an ancient yet simple weaving form. It is an ideal way to use a variety of yarns, recycled fabric and sheep fleece. A great technique for complete beginners to the more experienced weaver. Throughout the day you will be working with sheep fleece and will learn how to thread the loom, weave a seat pad or small rug, identify the warp and weft and tie off your finished piece. Please feel free to bring your own pegloom if you have one.
This workshop is supported by the WEA. The fees are subsidised and all participants will be required to complete a work booklet on the day. All participants must be over 16 years of age.
£30 (if you are working)
£25 (if you are in receipt of an occupational pension & not receiving pension credit)
£15 (if you are working less than 16 hours per week or not working)
Plus £5 per participant towards materials (paid on the day to the tutor)
This event is fully booked.
