Needle Felting Fun – 3D Hare

During this workshop you will be using, and finding out about, native hand-dyed wool, and the different methods of felt-making.

We will be needle-felting a sculpture using the core wool method and barbed needles, and create one of our most iconic creatures, the hare.

The barbed needles are used to fuse the fibres and sculpt the wool into your preferred creature!

You can bring in photos to work from, or browse through the resources available.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, including beginners. Emma will guide you through the techniques and you will be able to take home your completed hare at the end of the workshop. 

All the materials are available for you to choose from, and cost £10 pp. There will also be the opportunity to purchase a kit to go home and continue to needle felt!

This is the second of four Needle Felting workshops taking place at Denmark Farm in 2017:

1. Sat 5th August – Needle Felt a 3D garden bird (Fully Booked)
2. Sat 2nd September – Needle felt a 3D hare 
   
3. Sat 28th October – Creating a landscape using wet and needle felting techniques (3 places left)
   
4. Sat 18th November – Needle felt a 3D fox or red squirrel (1 place left)

Fee: £36 for one workshop, £67 for two events, £98 for three events and £129 for all four events. 

NB. There is an additional £10 per workshop for materials, to be paid in cash on the day.

Places are limited to ten participants per event and must be booked in advance.
