Mad about Moths

Mad About Moths event at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre,

 

With Liz Snell of the Ceredigion moth group, Sunday 6th September from 9.30 to 11 am. 

 

Did you know there are around 2000 species of moth in the UK? We can’t promise you’ll see all of them, but there’ll be the opportunity for some close-up views of some of these beautiful creatures at our moth morning. We’ll be setting live moth-traps in our wonderfully varied habitats at Denmark Farm, and examining our finds at the morning session. Perhaps we’ll be lucky enough to add a new species or two to our site records!

 

Suitable for beginners as well as those who already have some experience of moth -trapping.
