Willow Weaving – ‘Alibaba’ Linen Basket – 1 place left
On this two day course you will be weaving a beautiful and practical ‘alibaba’ shaped linen basket, using a variety of naturally coloured willows.
Doing the washing will never again feel like a chore!
This is the first course in a run of five days of laundry themed basket weaving.
This is a big project, so you will only manage the main body of the linen basket in the two days. If you would like to make a lid, then it is recommended to book onto the following one day round/peg basket course on Sunday 18th Feb 2024. On that day you can make either a lid (or a peg basket if you prefer!).This course is ideally for people who have had some previous basketry experience.
Tutor: Jane Welsh
Jane is an experienced basket maker and attentive teacher. Her knowledge and love of willow is inspiring. She will also have a range of her own baskets for sale at extremely reasonable prices.

Fee: £130 (includes tuition and hot drinks throughout the day)
There is an additional fee of £25 for the materials. Please bring this in cash and pay to the tutor on the day.
