Hooking and Locker Hooking Workshop

Date(s) - 18 Feb 2018
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Make a hooked picture, table mat or decorative panel from recycled materials.

From fine hooking with yarn to large woollen rugs made with old jumpers, hooking is a fantastically creative textile technique.

At this workshop we will explore freestyle hooking where you can draw with fabric and locker hooking which lends itself to more geometric designs. This gives a good range of choices for materials to be used (including most fabrics,  unspun fleece and yarn) and a variety of finishes and styles.

A good workshop for textile artists who want to experiment with lots of different tools, materials and effects.

All tools and materials will be provided and more will be for sale on the day for you to continue some creative projects at home.

Workshop Tutor:
Sue Clow is a local textile artist with 30 years experience in textile recycling and designing.
She has experimented with many different textile techniques and sells tools and kits as
well as her  handmade crafts… See more on her website
