In this felt bag workshop you will be making one of a choice of 3D objects – bag, vessel or something else entirely. The key is that we will be using multiple resists to make pockets (hidden or otherwise!) and you will have the chance to ‘embed’ found objects or special bits in the felt.
A week or so before the class we will send you some advance information so that you can start to plan what you’d like to make and perhaps find some bits and pieces that you’d like to include in your work.
This workshop is for those who have been to either the hats or the slippers course OR have done quite a lot of felting at home.
Participants will be sent some ideas in advance so that they can come to the workshop ‘ready to go’ on their creation.
Tutor: Lorraine Pocklington
