Family Wildlife Recording Club
Come and help our Nature Reserve Manager Ryan with recording flowers, mammals, insects, birds and more!
Each 2h session will be themed around different wildlife, and we will cover a different craft activity, sometimes a wildlife story and most importantly we will go out recording.
Different recording methods we may cover: quadrats, setting out wildlife cameras, footprint tunnels, walking a transect, sitting quietly and monitoring bird boxes with binoculars, pond dipping, dissecting owl pellets, looking under reptile refugia and more!
We have a Wildlife Discovery Room with a selection of things found in nature on display, you can sit and watch the birds, have a look through a microscope or watch wildlife recordings of barn owls.
£5 per family, per session.
All sessions will be on Wednesdays and run 10:30-12:30:
