Date(s) - 15 Dec 2012
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
On 15th December we are holding a coppicing workshop at Denmark Farm led by local woodsman Bob Shaw. As well as learning the ancient art of coppicing using hand tools, you will also learn about the sustainable uses for the materials produced.
The workshop is free to take part in but places are limited so BOOKING IS REQUIRED. The day will run from 9 am to 4 pm to make the most of the daylight, and we will provide soup and rolls for lunch. Please bring work clothes and waterproofs (previous experience is not required).
Coppicing courses can cost upwards of £50 so this is an excellent opportunity to gain skills for free, while helping us to manage Denmark Farm in a sustainable way.
(Note that this coppicing workshop replaces the Volunteer day scheduled for 8th December)
Bookings are closed for this event.
