Deepening into our Kinship with nature. Opening our heart-sensing to the stories of the land and our other-than-human kin. Celebrating and co-creating with them, the possibility of the new earth…
Using practices to re-awaken our true relationship with wild nature and sharing our joyful explorations through movement and dance.
Catriona will be sharing practices of heart centred perception developed over 30 years as an osteopath, healer and animal communicator. When not in her practice, she loves wandering the land serving her apprenticeship as a story carrier. She also loves to dance!
Lucy will be leading the movement practices, combining her dance expertise with open hearted nature connection. She loves creating space for people to explore their relationship with nature and themselves. She brings together her dance training from Rambert School and an MSc in Sustainability from the Centre for Alternative Technology where her core research explored how working with nature can develop qualities of interconnectedness, compassion, co-operation and responsibility in people.
This one day introductory Connecting with the Heart, Dancing with the Heart workshop is being held at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre. We will spend the day exploring the thriving life in the woods, meadows and around the waters of this land, finding our way into a sense of our kinship and gifting each other our joy.
