Make and Decorate your own Christmas Wreath
It’s that festive time of year again so come and make your stylish Christmas Wreath with us at Denmark Farm.
Using Justine’s colourful willow, you will learn how to weave your own 10-14″ wreath. You will be able to choose your own colour combination to make each wreath unique to you.
You will add sprays of locally grown foliage and fir cones, ensuring that the colours of the willow are still on show.
Finally, the wreath will be completed with a beautiful ribbon bow.
A selection of willow colours and cut foliage will be available. All tools and equipment will be provided.
Workshop Tutor: Justine Burgess of West Wales Willows.
Justine originally trained as an engineer, and worked in the charity and education sectors, before becoming a partner in West Wales Willows with her husband, Alan. On their smallholding in Carmarthenshire, they grow around 250 varieties of willow and sell it as cuttings and rods during the winter for others to grow, as well as selling their own willow products and sharing her expertise through workshops.
There will be two half day sessions to choose from: 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30-4pm. Please select the appropriate session when booking below.
Places are limited to eight participants and must be booked in advance.
Workshop Fee: £35 per person
NB. There is an additional £5 per person for materials, to be paid in cash on the day.
