A special volunteer training event to construct a stock access bridge.
Have you got a boggy patch, ditch or stream over which you’d like to build a bridge?
Come and spend two days with Peter Drake learning all the skills and techniques that you need for bridge building at your own site.
This is a free volunteer training event and everybody is welcome.
Limited to 6 places, please book your place in advance below.
This is a fairly physical activity, carrying/lifting heavy timber and working in a wet muddy area. Volunteers need to be fit and prepared to get wet and muddy.
Wear steel toe-capped boots and bring waterproofs. Bring a packed lunch, hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.
If you can’t join us for the full weekend you are welcome to join for Saturday only.

We are very grateful to Hanfod Cymru, Pont Cymru, Plantlife Cymru, Ceredigion Nature Partnership and Ceredigion Meadows Group for all their support making this Bridge Build possible.
This event is fully booked.
