What’s the difference between an earthworm, a roundworm and a slowworm or on a furry note between a rat and a rabbit? There are a huge number of different animal species on planet earth and scientists need to find some order out of the chaos. Find out the science behind sorting out members of the Animal Kingdom. From A for aardvark to Z for zebra and all types of animals large and small in between, their relationships to each other will be revealed. By examining their structure and studying the evolutionary processes that resulted in this diversity of form, you will be able to place animals in to related groups. This is a fascinating and essential core course for both ecology Certificates. It is an excellent background for anyone interested other courses involving animal life.
