Yn ystod y 10 mlynedd cyntaf yn Fferm Denmark, cynhaliwyd rhaglen ddwys o arolygon bywyd gwyllt i fonitro adferiad y safle o laswelltir a reolir yn ddwys i fosaig o gynefinoedd cyfoethog o ran bywyd gwyllt.<\/p>\n

Mae’r symiau enfawr o gofnodion mewn cypyrddau ffeilio a blychau yn tystio i’r gwaith enfawr a wnaed gan ein sylfaenwyr Neil a Barbara Taylor, ac amrywiaeth o ecolegwyr arbenigol.<\/p>\n

Mae ein monitro a’n cofnodi heddiw yn cael ei wneud ar sail fwy anffurfiol gan ymwelwyr, gwirfoddolwyr, arbenigwyr lleol a chyfranogwyr cwrs, sy’n rhoi rhestr o’u ‘darganfyddiadau’ inni.<\/p>\n

Mae’r cofnodion hyn yn amhrisiadwy gan eu bod yn ein galluogi i greu darlun o’r rhywogaeth gan ddefnyddio’r safle. O bryd i’w gilydd, rydym hyd yn oed yn darganfod rhywogaeth newydd! Yn ystod Diwrnod Dolydd diweddar, cofnododd un o’n harbenigwyr lleol y criced llwyn Roesel ( Metrioptera roeselii<\/em> ): <\/p>\n

Credir bod y rhywogaeth yn lledaenu’n raddol i’r Gorllewin a’r Gogledd yn y DU mewn ymateb i amgylchedd cynhesu, a dyma oedd yr ail gofnod yn unig yng Ngheredigion.<\/p>\n

‘Cynta’ diweddar arall ar y safle oedd ‘pryfed glaswellt Timothy’ ( Stenotus binotatus<\/em> ), a nodwyd gan arbenigwr infertebratau o Fenter Bioamrywiaeth Gwastraff Glofaol<\/a> yn Ne Cymru wrth gynnal hyfforddiant cacwn ar y safle. Nid yw’r pryf ei hun yn arbennig o hudolus (er bod ei enw arddull Beatrix Potter yn eithaf hoffus!) ond mae’n dangos beth allwch chi ddod o hyd iddo os edrychwch chi. <\/p>\n

Mae cofnodi ac arolygu yn hanfodol ar gyfer cadwraeth bywyd gwyllt y DU yn y dyfodol – heb wybod ble mae ein bywyd gwyllt, sut allwn ni ei warchod? Mae cofnodion bywyd gwyllt Fferm Denmark yn cael eu cyflwyno i’n canolfan gofnodion leol (LRC),  Canolfan Gwybodaeth Bioamrywiaeth Gorllewin Cymru<\/a> sy’n cwmpasu Ceredigion, Sir Benfro a Sir Gaerfyrddin. Mae gan bob ardal o’r DU ei Chanolfan Gwybodaeth Lleol ei hun; gallwch ddod o hyd i’ch un chi yma.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Mae cofnodion yn cael eu defnyddio fwyfwy gan gynghorau lleol a sefydliadau llywodraethol i seilio penderfyniadau ar yr amgylchedd arnynt. Felly mae pob cofnod – hyd yn oed os ydych chi’n meddwl eu bod nhw’n rhywogaethau ‘cyffredin’ – yn werthfawr. Er efallai nad ydych chi’n adnabod eich chwilod glaswellt Timothy o’ch chwilod Bertie (Iawn, fe wnaethon ni greu hwnnw!), mae digon o wefannau fel ispot<\/a> ac irecord<\/a> , ac amrywiaeth o grwpiau Facebook lle mae arbenigwyr brwd yn aros i adnabod eich lluniau! Ac wrth gwrs rydym yn darparu ystod eang o gyrsiau adnabod rhywogaethau<\/a> yma yn Fferm Denmark hefyd. <\/p>\n
