In December, BBC’s Radio 1 and 1Xtra kick-started their ambitious yearlong volunteering campaign: 1MillionHours

They are asking their listeners to pledge 1 million hours of their time towards volunteering for a good cause. They have been motivating and inspiring their listeners with real life stories of what the benefits of volunteering can be and how it can help communities.
