Wildlife Where You Live (WWYL)

WWYL helps people to identify and carry out environmental improvements that make a real difference to their community. This three-year programme began in July 2010 and is funded by The Big Lottery Fund, Environment Wales, Countryside Council for Wales and The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

Demonstration projects take place at Denmark Farm as well as in participating rural Ceredigion Communities. The communities are Aberarth, Borth, Cellan, Cilcennin, Ciliau Aeron, Llanafan, Llanddewi Brefi, Llanilar, Llangeitho,  Llangybi, Pontrhydfendigaid and Tregaron.

If you would like to take part in any of these free wildlife activities please get in touch or ‘Like’ us on our Wildlife Where You Live  Community Facebook page, where we regularly post photos and news of events.

Here at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre we know that enjoying nature helps people to have a better quality of life. The natural environment also provides resources and educational opportunities. Wildlife Where You Live is a wonderful chance for communities to bring nature to their doorstep – and make the most of what’s around them.
