Ecology into Art Exhibition – 16th to 31st August 2014

Denmark Farm Conservation Centre is delighted to be hosting an art exhibition, opening this Saturday 16th August.

The exhibition features the talented painter Lil Tudor-Craig and is part of the Ceredigion Art Trail

Lil’s beautiful, highly detailed, paintings are of wildlife in their habitat, focussing on the relationship between British wild plants and the creatures they support. This is art that is both beautiful and meaningful, a journey of discovery, a contemplation of deep ecology and the amazing natural world.

“I paint native species of wild plants and the creatures they support. The pictures are about the interconnectedness and interdependence of life, our connection and our loss. The natural world, the humble one on our very doorsteps, that is sometimes not obviously beautiful, holds delight, magic and importance and can be greatly healing to us.”

The Ecology into Art exhibition will be running from Saturday 16th until Sunday 31st August, 10.30am to 4pm daily (except closed on Tuesday).

Meet the Artist – Lil will be there with tea and cake and will be happy to talk to anyone who is interested.

You can also spend some time enjoying a walk on the trails and exploring the diverse nature at Denmark Farm.

There is no entrance charge but donations towards our work are always welcome.
